Abstract: The paper sets out to tackle with the problem of modeling the variables necessary for testing the suggested mathematical model – the net cash flows from using the tangible fixed assets for the year of analysis, the discount rate of the future cash flows, respectively the annual and cumulative amortization. In our attempt to prove that, starting from a given set of rules regarding amortization and complying with the considerations of the American implicit interest depreciation method, we can obtain a model through which the net cash flow from exploitation of an asset/group of assets can be expressed according to measure of the annual amortization, we considered it necessary to gradually present the successive steps of modeling the above mentioned aggregates in the practice of the societies within the European area. Likewise, there have been mentioned the limitations encountered in our research process in the set of annual financial situations of the groups of societies within the European area connected to the measurement of the above mentioned variables.
