Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic devastated every country it affected through the devastating social, economic and political effects it generated. The crisis situation has put to the test the capacity of cooperation within and between nations, as well as between the population and the governments of their countries, but also of international bodies and their capacity to mobilize. The main objective of this paper is to investigate and assess the role of the main international organizations in managing the crisis generated by the outbreak of the pandemic.
