Subharmonic solutions of Hill’s equation

Zhengxin Zhou

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2015, vol. 253, issue C, 17-22

Abstract: In this article, we use the method of reflecting function to discuss the qualitative behavior of the solutions of Hill’s equations. We give the necessary and sufficient conditions for Hill’s equation to have some reflecting functions and apply the obtained results to discuss the existence of periodic and subharmonic solutions of non-homogeneous Hill’s equation.
