Quenching for a parabolic equation with variable coefficient modeling MEMS technology

Jun Zhou

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2017, vol. 314, issue C, 7-11

Abstract: This paper deals with a parabolic equation with variable coefficient modeling MEMS technology, and we will prove the solution of the problem quenches in finite time in the case without stationary solutions. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the theoretical results.
