Abstract:
A PV system is designed and used in order to reclaim the soil of a farm located 35 km NE of Baghdad using brackish water from a well and discharging it to a nearby drainage stream. The system is designed according to the climate of Baghdad city and the hydrogeological data of the area. An evaluation of the both PV and drainage systems was made for a complete year of operation.
