Spallation reactions and accelerator-driven systems

B. Slowinski

Applied Energy, 2003, vol. 75, issue 1-2, 129-136

Abstract: The state-of-the-art in the field of neutron and nuclear-fragment emissions from spallation reactions initiated by protons in the GeV energy range with extended heavy targets is discussed. Such reactions are essential for the operation of accelerator-driven systems.
