Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2026, vol. 209, issue P1

Abstract: We introduce and study a new class of maps on metric spaces, called G-contractions, which extend the classical notion of contractions. G-contractions may admit compact invariant sets. Gn-contractions are studied as a subclass of G-contractions, and their structural and dynamical properties are explored. Building on this theory, a framework is developed for iterated function systems composed of Gn-contractions, called G-IFS, and some fractals arising from the system are constructed.
