Parallel solution of linear system of equations using a column oriented approach

Abstract:
We present an efficient parallel algorithm for solving linear systems of equations. The algorithm runs with nine processors on Transputer array. We give the experimental, the theoretical timings and the analysis of calculation the optimum number of processors.
