A direct link between large-scale structure and cosmic strings

R. Murdzek

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2007, vol. 33, issue 3, 748-753

Abstract: In this paper we show that observations support the existence of a logistic model relating fractal dimension to the scale of analysis for the distribution of galaxies. We report the evidence for a link between the large-scale structure and the cosmic string network of galaxy distribution. This connection is consistent with the theory of structure formation seeded by cosmic strings and could be a bridge between the E-infinity theory and the distribution of luminous matter in the Universe.
