Abstract:
Ecosystems have self-organizing characteristics, and possess redundant structure and function. In this paper, we model the redundant structure in ecosystems using a type-2 fuzzy logic system. In this work, we demonstrate the quantitative relationship between how organisms and the environment communicate. Therefore, we discuss the stability measure of community, the reliability of redundancy and the stability of ecosystems, which would benefit for the evolution. The result of the experiment indicates the community with higher reliability has stronger fitness while the environment changes. Under this condition, the utilization of water shows reasonable configuration structure under vertical gradient. Therefore, the water utilization rate of is higher, which results in the higher stability of the layer.
