Abstract:
The multidisciplinary nature of energy issues, coupled with the proliferation of publications in diverse journals, makes it difficult to review the literature in traditional ways. Fortunately, modern computer technology and library science bring rapid literature searches within the easy reach of individual researchers. The use of encyclopedic computer databases is discussed with particular reference to the DIALOG system. An appendix on equipment needs is included.
