Abstract:
An assessment of the energy situation and a national strategy for energy conservation in Singapore are presented. We relate current efforts to long-term planning through a total energy approach to energy management and discuss the objectives of such an approach with reference to energy-saving opportunities present in both the industrial and commercial sectors.
