Abstract:
Ecological situation in the world has forced to close coal plants. And renewable energy sources, which are characterized by volatility, mayn't be enough to provide countries with energy, so transition to “green energy” will be difficult. Kazakhstan's energy industry will gradually switch from coal to gas so that emissions correspond to European standards, but coal will remain the main fuel for the time being due to its cheapness. In this regard power units of energy plants require creating and mastering of new environmentally friendly coal technologies to reduce the negative impact on the environment.
