Abstract:
This study investigates the design, sizing, and implementation of an energy-efficient NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) aquaponic system, contributing to sustainable food production. It aligns with Energy's mission by optimizing energy use through the integration of a solar-assisted heating system and performing a 4E (Energy, Exergy, Economic, and Environmental) analysis. This approach reduces energy consumption and environmental impact, supporting a net-zero, secure, and affordable energy future with renewable energy solutions in agriculture.
