Abstract:
This paper discusses the planning and management of environmental aspects related to offshore oil and gas prospecting, development drilling and production. In particular it reviews the development of offshore oil and gas environmental guidelines. These approaches are intended to assist top and mid-management government officials and oil company personnel in discussing environmental aspects both prior to the issuing of concession licenses and during exploration, development and production planning.
