Abstract:
It is observed that a recently proposed multi step tenth-order iterative scheme by Katuri and Maroju (2025) for solving non-linear equations has algorithmic/typo errors in equations (3.5), (3.6), (5.4), (5.6)−(5.9) and first equation on page number 5 as well as many numerical errors in Table 1, Table 2, Table 3 etc. Further, authors in published paper has chosen the error tolerance 10−5, and it is noticed that this tolerance does not match the computational results presented. We suggest corrections to all above-mentioned discrepancies and explain the previous numerical work in a finer way.
