Abstract:
In this paper, we consider the inverse problem of determining the blood perfusion coefficient in a hyperbolic bioheat equation with Robin boundary conditions. We develop an efficient and globally convergent numerical method for reconstructing the coefficient. Moreover, the recovery can be achieved using only partial boundary measurements. Our theoretical analysis demonstrates that the Carleman-weighted reconstruction algorithm can approximate the exact blood perfusion coefficient with arbitrary precision. Finally, we present some numerical experiments in 1−d case, showing the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
