A fast Walsh transfrom-based data compression multi-microprocessor system: application to ECG signals

Abstract: After a short review of the data compression technique through orthogonal transforms, and a brief account of the basic features of multi-microprocessor systems, a fast Walsh transform-based multi-microprocessor data compression system is presented and tested using real ECG waveforms.
