Abstract: The construction of rooftop photovoltaic plays a significant role in promoting the optimization and upgrading of the energy structure of the park. To enhance the efficiency utilization of rooftop photovoltaic energy, a capacity optimization configuration method for the photovoltaic-storage batteries-hydrogen coupling system (PBHS) considering the time-of-use price is proposed. This article aims to construct a comprehensive multi-objective optimization configuration model by simultaneously considering the two core objectives of minimizing equal annual investment costs and minimizing annual carbon emissions. A non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm based on elite strategy (NSGA-II) is introduced as an effective tool for solving mathematical models. Finally, by comparing the proposed scheme with the traditional hybrid photovoltaic energy storage scheme, the proposed plan achieved a significant reduction of 7.7 % in annual investment costs and a 15.16 % reduction in annual carbon emissions. This article provides valuable insights to the in-depth development of rooftop photovoltaic hydrogen production field.
