Abstract:
Design of a solar power plant consists of two cycles, oil and steam is simulated to study its control philosophy and thermal performance, using an entropy generation minimization method. Plant highest thermal cycle efficiency is determined for mean day of each month during a year and new operating conditions are proposed.
