Abstract: This introduction to Part II examines how neoliberal reforms have reshaped access, opportunity, and stratification in legal education across diverse national contexts. Through cases from Russia, India, Mexico, and the United States, the chapters trace the massification, marketization, and regulation of law schools alongside enduring inequalities rooted in social capital and institutional hierarchy. Collectively, the section interrogates whether expanded access produces genuine opportunity, or instead reconfigures exclusion while generating new sites of reform and legal empowerment.
