Chapter 1 in Employment Law for a Brave New World, 2025, pp 1-6 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
In 2017 we published a comparative study: The Common Law Employment Relationship (TCELR). The focus of TCELR was on the development and current state of employment law in three jurisdictions: Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. This work concerns the same jurisdictions but shifts the focus to current and future challenges facing the individual employment relationship in the coming one to two decades and analyses how employment law will respond to both more immediate direct pressures as well as to the rapidly changing global environment.
