Where we’ve been and where we’re heading: author insights and concluding reflections from the Handbook of Counterproductive Work Behavior

Reeshad S. Dalal, Jaclyn M. Jensen and Sandy Lim*

Chapter 37 in Handbook of Counterproductive Work Behavior, 2025, pp 670-680 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: In this concluding chapter, we present the Handbook authors' insights and final reflections on the Handbook—and counterproductive work behavior (CWB) research more broadly. We do so by means of a survey of Handbook authors that contained a mixture of close- and open-ended questions and a mixture of general and chapter-specific questions. We organize author answers to open-ended questions into a set of 13 themes and illustrate the themes via prototypical author comments from the survey.
