Abstract:
The purpose of this chapter is to discuss the use and integration of a variety of digital tools in health education research. Health education research process involves a variety of sub-aspects such as data collection (e.g., Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, Google Forms), data visualization and data analysis (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, R), and dissemination (e.g., social media platforms, such as Kudos, ChatGPT, and Paperpal). The integration of a variety of digital tools in all the above-mentioned sub-aspects has been discussed. Additionally, the role of ethics in applying these tools has been discussed, particularly with the emergence of newer tools based on the use and application of generative artificial intelligence (AI).
