Chapter Chapter 3 in Case Studies on Nonprofit Resilience Management, 2025, pp 36-42 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
A small nonprofit presenting organization is the setting for a recurring challenge of property ownership and management. Forty years after a failed capital campaign to buy its building, Darling Corey’s may try again to gain ownership of its venue. A close and cooperative arrangement with its founder/landlord/neighbor must be reorganized, in order to protect an important community-based arts and culture resource.
