Abstract: Covid-19 can have a range of possible symptoms, from mild (fever, cough) to severe (pneumonia), as well as neurological issues. The virus has also been found to affect the central nervous system, causing cognitive impairment. Many patients have developed “Long Covid”, where symptoms persist long after the initial infection. Research has found significant deficits in Covid-19 patients, with more severe illness correlating with more severe outcomes, manifesting with issues in absenteeism, attention, memory, executive function, fatigue, depression, anxiety, and cognitive function. These issues are critical for any individual; however, those in leadership roles with said issues may have wider organisational impact.
