Abstract:
This chapter explores the application of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) in project management. Project managers across various industries, such as manufacturing, construction, and energy, must navigate diverse and often conflicting criteria, including environmental performance, quality, cost, social impact, and safety. Therefore, they require effective tools to support the selection of optimal alternatives, and MCDM serves as a powerful decision-support framework for this purpose. Emphasis is placed on integrating MCDM with circular economy principles to enhance resource efficiency, transparency, and long-term project success.
