 Digital Transformation in Organisations: A Study on the Top 500 IT CompaniesHümeyra TAŞÇİOĞLU Fiscaoeconomia, 2026, issue 1 Abstract: The purpose of this study is to reveal the digital transformation strategies of companies ranked in the top 10 of Turkey's IT 500 list in terms of process improvement, organizational transformation, sectoral restructuring, and social impacts. Publicly available sustainability reports, integrated activity reports, and press releases for 2024 were evaluated using content analysis, a qualitative analysis method, and the coding process was carried out using MAXQDA software. The findings show that companies focus most on the dimensions of organizational transformation and process improvement. In organizational transformation, the development of digital culture and business model innovations stand out, while integration and performance monitoring are prominent topics in process improvement. The study is limited to companies ranked in the top 10 of the Bilişim 500 list. In conclusion, the findings reveal that digital transformation is not merely a process of technological integration but also a transformation at the structural, sectoral, and societal levels. In this regard, the study contributes to the empirical gap in the literature and offers a unique perspective on how digital transformation is positioned at the corporate level in Turkey's IT sector.
