Regularization by Global DGMRES Method for Ill-Posed Matrix Equation AXB=G

Abstract: In this article, we deal with the solution of the linear, large-size, and ill-posed matrix equation AXB=G, whose matrix G is contaminated with noise. We apply Tikhonov regularization in combination with the Gl-DGMRES method to mitigate the effect of noise. Our implementation is performed on examples of image deblurring problems whose coefficient matrix is in the form of a Kronecker product. The observed improvement in PSNR and relative error in the regularized case using the proposed method, compared with the non-regularized cases and the regularized Global-LSMR approach, demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
