Abstract: "In theory every job is open to women and men nowadays, from the female excavating machine operator to the dentist's assistant, from Lady Prime Minister to primary school teachers. In practice however most people tend to keep to the area they are used to and hence some fields of work are still much more strongly characterised by male or female participation. Elsewhere structures are beginning to break up and things have started to move." (Authors' abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
