Abstract:
"Active labour market policy plays an important role in Germany. In an interview to the IAB-Forum magazine, IAB Director Joachim Möller discusses its underlying principles such as the idea of 'demanding and supporting' (Fordern und Fördern). He emphasizes the fact that evaluation results tend to have a significant impact on the design of labour market policies. In particular, he argues that many labour market programmes are effective for some groups, but not necessarily for others." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
