The 'mini factory' concept: how to access market fast in China by using dynamic capabilities in production

Abstract: The purpose of this case study is to deepen understanding of dynamic capabilities in production and to explain a solution; how to use dynamic capability in business life. Most research on dynamic capabilities has focused on the question 'what' defines dynamic capabilities; this article focuses on 'how'. Dynamic capabilities can be used successfully for improving company's efficiency. The case company work in the field of power electronics, and they decided to set up a factory in China. The case company developed their own concept called a 'mini factory'. The mini factory is a factory with high flexibility and speed.
