Abstract: The author provides a comment to the companion literature review, focusing on clinical applications of decision analysis. The theory and application of clinical decision analysis has decreased in the management science and operations research literature, but has become a field in and of itself, with contributions to the medical and analytical communities. Decision scientists should be aware of methodological contributions in the health decision science literature.
