Abstract: This report presents all desk research (literature review and frameworks analysis) underpinning the development of the LifEComp framework, on the Personal, Social and Learning to Learn Key Competence (one of the eight Key Competences for Lifelong Learning in the 2018 Recommendation). The desk research provides the rationale for design and description of the LifEComp framework proposal. With a lifewide perspective, the framework aims to embrace different levels and areas of education and training, from early childhood to vocational, non-formal and adult education.
