Abstract:
In order to understand the role of foreign-owned business activity in regional economic development and the relevance of this phenomenon for regional policies, it is necessary, although not exhaustive, to have an appropriate mapping of investment flows that can lead to a regional characterisation of the geography of foreign direct investment (FDI).
