Abstract: The functionality and existence of preschool micro-groups involves assigning the status of manager to the teachers. They must respond to the co-action of more specific functions of management, namely: planning-organizing function, function-oriented methodological guidance, together with self-adjusting function of the educational process and hence of the education system. At the preschool-type education level, the manager must assume: interpersonal roles, informational roles, decision-making roles.
