Abstract:
This article aims to highlight the importance of benchmarking for assessing the quality of Romanian Technological Education. Benchmarking is an efficient tool to modern education institutions. The information in this article is structured into two chapters, namely: Theoretical Considerations on Benchmarking and Benchmarking Applied in Romanian Technological Education. The first chapter defines the benchmarking, explained: role, stages and types of benchmarking. In the second chapter are detailed: Types of benchmarking applied in Romanian technological education and Valorisation of a ERASMS + KA1 VET of Finnish benchmarking experienced by the author in a professional mobility.
