Abstract: Resilience is an innate characteristic that is related to how individuals cope with stressful or difficult situations. Resilience, or the ability absorb high levels of disruptive change while displaying minimal unproductive behavior, may provide some explanation for how teachers respond to change as it relates to professional development (Henderson & Milstein, 2003)
