Chapter 11 in Psycho-educational and social intervention program for parents. Psycho-educational kit: Trainer’s manual and trainee’s workbook, 2018, vol. 1, pp 75-81 from Editura Lumen, Department of Economics
Abstract:
Self-esteem refers to the judgement that a person makes of himself or herself. This evaluation is conditioned by several factors that stem from the environment, such as the expectations of the family, the peers, or even the vision that other people have about the person. Self-concept is the vision that each person has of himself or herself. That is, how the person sees himself or herself and what are the limitations and skills that he/she has.
