Abstract: Systematic and continuous psychological harassment in the workplace when an employee is attacked and stigmatized by peers or superiors by rumours, intimidation, humiliation, discrediting and isolating, threatening both emotional and professional skills - this is the definition of the phenomenon called Mobbing. Mobbing is not only extremely widespread in the world of work, but has considerable effects on psycho individual, psychosocial and psycho organizational plan, seriously affecting a person's destiny, the more its performance in the workplace. This descriptive paper, which will be the base for a further research, aims to raise awareness and widespread public and political opinion on this phenomenon so that organizations, regardless of their size, to be obliged to introduce a program for prevention and elimination, considering that very few abused people address to specialized institutions asking for the appropriate solution.
