Abstract:
In Transport Psychology, the requirement imposed by strong empirical evidence reflects portrays a reality in which safety/security in transport is the norm. This forces the practitioner to periodically adapt the activity to be compatible with current data. Evaluations in transport psychology must be based on scientific evidence, consolidated with empirical evidence. This approach will ensure optimal results in profesionnal activity, avoiding confusion and uncertainty. It also ensures to the greatest extent the alignment with the European regulations in force, as well as with the European professional practice. The objective of these specifications is to guide the practitioners, to provide recommendations and strategies for organising the evaluation process in Transport Psychology. They will minimise the risk of errors which can compromise the evaluation process and consequently the quality of diagnosis.
