The Wrong Deficit

Tim Koechlin

Challenge, 2011, vol. 54, issue 6, 26-40

Abstract: Sometimes we have to step back and clearly state, in the plainest language, the problems we now face and the many myths about the economy. This economist does just that. But he also has come up with an important phrase. What America now needs is a "smart deficit." Maybe the language will catch on.
