Crimes Against Present and Future Generations
Bianca Jagger
Challenge, 2014, vol. 57, issue 1, 41-59
Abstract:
In this original piece, human rights activist Bianca Jagger raises, among other issues, a subject not always on the radar of most economists—or our readers, for that matter. Are corporations committing crimes against future generations by their environment policies and other human catastrophes? She says the law is inadequate for holding them responsible.
