Abstract:
Is there another way? The congressional budgets of recent years, many economists argue, have had limited economic growth. The progressive caucus in Congress has produced an alternative that calls for serious fiscal stimulus and not long-run public investment later. This economist, a staff member of the Economic Policy Institute, which helped put the budget together, explains its benefits.
