The Urgency of Global Economic Reform

Fred Block

Challenge, 2019, vol. 62, issue 3, 165-176

Abstract: We have entered a new age of provocative domestic reforms proposed by Democatic presidential hopefuls. But this author argues it is not enough. The global economic system, he argues, must be reformed because it has imposed an austerity regime on the rich world, which will prevent bold new domestic social programs from being passed.
