Ignazio Musu
Economia dei Servizi, 2008, issue 3, 441-452
Abstract:
This paper aims at providing a discussion of the relationship between economic growth and environmental sustainability. On this background, the author intends to investigate two related issues: on one side, why it is necessary to integrate measures of environmental regulation and proper policies of technological innovation to pursue a sustainable economic growth; on the other, to what extent the increasing weight of the services sector on domestic product can contribute to a sustainable growth.
