Abstract: The paper summarizes the output of the Russia-Canada Workshop on “Strategic Planning and Assessment of Regional Programs”. The author analyzes the practices of strategic planning in Russia and Canada as well as the possible evolution of strategic planning in Russia in case we would apply the best Canadian practices.
