Abstract: We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education. The broad education will, therefore, transmikt to one not only the accumulated knowledge of the race but also the accumulated experience of social living." Starting from these words of Martin Luther King the paper explores the challenges of nowadays education considering the constraints and shift in values and principles that globalization generates in today's society.
