Abstract: The European normative framework in company matters was adopted with the purpose of harmonization of national laws in the context of international affairs development, in order to integrate the supranational business forms on the Single Market. Yet, in the present economic context, regulating the European company, form of organization of the activity involving a major capital concentration, appears as insufficient, compared to the necessity of adopting specific European norms for the development of small and meduim sized companies, the European Union profiling proposals concerning the regulation of the European private company.
