Abstract: In this paper we highlight environmental challenges faced by the apparel manufacturing companies, thus bringing to the forefront of analyzing a multitude of features and trends that have or will gain, in the future, a significant influence on the industry. Survival and development of companies in the field are generally dependent on the external environment in which they evolve, requiring a clear perception of the changes occurring in it.
